Originally called “Midway Confectionary and Bus Depot,” Midway Tavern has a rich history that dates back to 1933. It started as a humble barber shop and was later transformed into a tavern by its owner, “Curly” Mullin, after the repeal of prohibition.
Despite its modest beginnings, Midway Tavern has grown over the years and evolved into the beloved neighborhood establishment it is today. What was once a mere 900 square feet has expanded and undergone renovations to offer a spacious and comfortable environment for its patrons.
