Originally called “Midway Confectionary and Bus Depot,” the Midway Tavern has been a beloved watering hole in the neighborhood since 1933. What started as a barber shop eventually transformed into a tavern by owner “Curly” Mullin after the repeal of prohibition.
With humble beginnings in just 900 square feet, the Midway Tavern has grown and evolved over the years into the spacious and inviting establishment it is today. Renovations have been made to cater to the needs and preferences of the community, ensuring that it remains a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.
