Originally called “Midway Confectionary and Bus Depot,” the Midway Tavern has a rich history that dates back to 1933. It began as a humble barber shop and was later transformed into a tavern by its owner, “Curly” Mullin, following the repeal of prohibition.
Despite its modest beginnings, the Midway Tavern has grown and evolved over the years. What was once just a 900 square foot space has now expanded into a spacious and inviting neighborhood establishment that you know and love today.
